Lists of upcoming mobile games tend to fill up with rumors, leaks and wishful thinking. This one doesn't. Every game below has an Android release confirmed either by an official announcement from its developer or publisher or by a live Google Play listing open for pre-registration. Each entry gives the status exactly as the publisher states it, with a link to the source.

How we chose these games

We included a game only if its developer or publisher has confirmed an Android version. Each entry shows the most specific status they've given: an exact date, a launch window or simply "pre-registration open, no date announced." We left out games that are only in regional tests with no global plans, and games already out worldwide. Tech Usama hasn't played these titles. The descriptions come from official listings and announcements.

Pre-registering on Google Play is free. Google Play Help says you'll get a notification when the game becomes available, and eligible devices can install it automatically on launch day. Large games only download automatically over Wi-Fi, and games over 2 GB aren't auto-installed (Google Play Help, Play Console Help). Big open-world games need room, so it's worth freeing up storage before launch day.

The games

Monster Hunter Outlanders

Status: Launches on iOS and Android on October 29, 2026, according to Capcom's September 29 announcement. The mainland China version is scheduled for 2027 or later.

Developed by Tencent's TiMi Studio Group under license from Capcom, Outlanders is built for phones from the start rather than ported from a console game. Capcom calls it a "survival hunting action" game. It keeps the series' classic weapons and adds an original world, new characters and exclusive monsters. It's free to play with in-app purchases, and its Google Play listing notes that some purchases include random items.

Watch it if: you want a full-size hunting game you can play on the move.

Petit Planet

Status: HoYoverse has announced a global launch in winter 2026 for PC, iOS and Android, as PocketGamer.biz reported. Pre-registration is open on the Google Play listing and the official site.

A cozy life sim is a change of pace for the studio behind Genshin Impact. You shape and decorate your own small planet, invite characters called Neighbors to move in and explore the wider "Starsea," with social features built in. If you like the genre, our picks of simulation games on Android will tide you over until it arrives.

Watch it if: you like decorating, collecting and low-pressure play.

ANANTA

Status: Global release on January 15, 2027, as stated on the official site and the Google Play listing. The official site lists PS5, PC, iOS and Android.

ANANTA is an urban open-world RPG from NetEase Games and developer Naked Rain. You arrive as a newcomer in Nova City, build a reputation, assemble a team and take on threats lurking in the shadows between nights out in a neon-lit city. The Play listing promises a second city to travel to as well. It's free to download with in-app purchases. For open-world games you can play now, see our guide to open-world games on Android.

Watch it if: you want a big modern-city sandbox rather than another fantasy world.

Sanrio Kawaii Me Live!

Status: Global release in January 2027 on the App Store and Google Play, with pre-registration open since September 21, 2026, according to Sanrio's announcement. Here's the Google Play listing.

Sanrio's first game under its new Sanrio Games brand is a rhythm and dance game starring Sanrio's characters. A simple Performance Mode suits newcomers, and a Technical Mode works as a full rhythm game. You can also customize outfits, stages and effects. Sanrio says it will be free to play with optional in-app purchases.

Watch it if: you want an approachable rhythm game, or you're already a Sanrio fan.

Silver Palace

Status: Pre-registration is open on the Google Play listing. Elementa hasn't announced a release date.

Silver Palace is an open-world action RPG built around detective work. You investigate strange cases in a Victorian-inspired city, team up with a cast of companions and, according to the listing, can also run businesses or become a regular at a local café. It's also coming to PC and consoles and has been through several beta tests. The Play listing shows in-app purchases, including random items.

Watch it if: you like mysteries and want story with your combat.

VAMPIR

Status: Netmarble opened global pre-registration on August 26, 2026, through Google Play, the App Store, the Epic Games Store and the official site. No global launch date has been announced (Inven Global). Here's the Google Play listing.

VAMPIR is a gothic vampire MMORPG for mobile and PC that already runs in South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and Japan. The Play listing rates it Mature 17+, and its own description leans hard into blood and horror. It's free to download with in-app purchases.

Watch it if: you want a large-scale MMO and don't mind a darker, more mature setting.

BLEACH Mirrors High

Status: The Google Play listing is live ahead of launch. Bandai Namco hasn't announced a release date.

This officially licensed action game tells a new story set after the anime's Thousand-Year Blood War arc. According to the listing, it was made in close collaboration with creator Tite Kubo, who designed a fresh cast of characters for it. You play as your own customizable Soul Reaper. It's free to download with in-app purchases.

Watch it if: you're a BLEACH fan who wants new canon-adjacent story rather than a retelling.

What we left out, and why

  • VALORANT Mobile is out in China, but Riot hasn't announced a global release date.
  • Palworld Mobile was playable at G-STAR 2025, but no release date has been announced.
  • Honkai: Nexus Anima has been in testing on PC, iOS and Android, but HoYoverse hasn't set a launch date.

We'll add games like these once their publishers give a firm date or open Google Play pre-registration.

Before you pre-register

Stick to the official Google Play listing or the publisher's own site. Unreleased games are a favorite disguise for malware, so never install an "early APK" from a random site. Our guide to Android privacy and security settings explains why. While you wait, our top mobile games page and our picks of multiplayer Android games cover what's worth playing right now.
